Former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, may have walk himself into fresh crisis in his bid to reclaim his post as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The party on Monday, the wielded the big stick by suspending Oyinlola from the party just five days after the Appeal Court ordered his re-instatement as the party’s secretary.
Oyinlola was suspended alongside the National Chairman of the New PDP, Kawu Baraje; his deputy, Sam Sam Jaja; and a former senator from Jigawa state, Ibrahim Kazaure.
It was learnt that the suspension was to ensure that Oyinlola, who had threatened to resume at the PDP headquarters on Monday, was stopped from resuming as the national secretary as ordered by the appellate court.
Details of the new twist in the PDP crisis will come later.
