PPA sacks Oyo, Adamawa, Anambra excos

The National Working Committee of the Progressive People’s Alliance, has dissolved its executive committees in Oyo, Adamawa and Anambra states.

The dissolutions which affected both the local government and ward levels, according to a statement by Peter Ameh, it’s National Chairman, was as a result of the affected executives disobedience to party directives, engaging in dishonest practices and flouting rulings and decision of the party.

Other listed reasons include, non performance as well as expiration of tenure.

Ameh said that the decision became necessary in order to reposition the party for electoral victory come 2015.

“Members of these committees should hand over Party documents and properties in their possession to their respective caretaker committee which shall also be acting as the registration committee.

He also announced the composition of the two committee that will be responsible for the conduct and execution of the party’s assignments to include Barr. Kehinde Edun as Chairman, National Working Committee along with Noah Abiodun And Na’ama Bullama as secretary and member respectively.

The Names of the State Registration Committee, according to the statement include, Barr. Emma Uduonu, as Chairman, Engr. Mike Igwilo as Secretary and Okoye Angela and Linus Nhuo as members.

The statement explained that the State Registration Committee will be responsible for the registration of the new members into the party and the registration and updating of old Party members in Anambra State under the leadership and supervision of the National Registration Committee in charge of the state.
