Saudi Arabia will host the tenth edition of Arab-China Business Conference in Riyadh on Sunday.

Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan will inaugurate the tenth session of the Arab-China Business Conference that will take place in Riyadh from June 11-12, 2023.

Organized by the Ministry of Investment in partnership with League of Arab States, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Union of Arab Chambers, the conference aims to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the Arab and Chinese business communities.

Held under the theme of “Cooperation for Prosperity,” this year’s conference will focus on exploring qualitative, multilateral investment opportunities in a range of sectors including technology, renewable energy, agriculture, real estate, minerals, logistics, innovation and others.

Hosted in Saudi Arabia for the first time, the conference’s agenda also includes sessions and meetings pinpointing how partnerships can help achieve sustainable development across Arab countries and China.

Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih affirmed that Crown Prince’s patronage of the conference embodies the leadership’s commitment to strengthening strategic cooperation with influential international economic powers to achieve sustainable, beneficial results.

Al-Falih added that the event represents a positive shift in the dynamic of Arab-Chinese trade relations and features more than 150 speakers including ministers and leaders of major companies in China and Arab countries.

As one of the largest events of its kind, the conference’s agenda includes 8 sessions, 18 workshops and a variety of specialized meetings.

The conference will help introduce parties to new projects as well as cover key subjects including innovative modern technologies, ways to amplify trade cooperation and the future of joint economic relations between the two regions.

Prince Faisal, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Kho Chun Khoa, and Minister of Investment Eng. Khaled Al-Falih are among the distinguished figures participating in the opening of the conference.

The tenth edition of the Arab-China Business Conference is the largest Arab Chinese business and investment gathering globally with more than 3,000 decision-makers, senior government officials, investors, business owners and specialists uniting to explore the future of Arab-Chinese commercial relations.

With 23 countries participating, the conference aims to strengthen Arab-Chinese strategic partnership through the Belt and Road Initiative, support economic cohesion and develop multilateral partnerships that give rise to prosperity, growth and progression.
