The National Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olu Falae, has said that the party would become stronger in the next four years.

Falae who spoke at a political rally in Edo, said that the party resuscitated a year ago, would be a stronger party to beat in future elections.

“Don’t forget that this party was resuscitated just over a year ago and you can see the magnitude of people at the rally.

“Go to Ogun it is the same, go to Ondo State it is the same, if we can make this progress in one year what do you think is going to happen in another two, three, and four years.

“The people are buying into the idea of SDP being the people’s party. SDP is a party that has a manifesto for the people. Some of the big parties have no manifesto, they don’t even think about what the people need and what they can do for them,” Falae said.

The SDP national chairman announced that the party would fill a candidate for 2016 governorship election in Edo, adding that the party has structure on ground.

“By next year when we have the governorship election in Edo we are going to make waves by the grace of God.

“The party has a wonderful structure and we can still review as more people come to join us in building the quality of leadership. There is no doubt about it, this party is already sending signals to the so called big parties,” he said.
