The Senate on Saturday, December 30, called on all service chiefs to appear before it to explain the events that led to the deaths of nearly 200 Nigerians on the Plateau on Christmas Eve.
The Nation reports that the House minority caucus raised an alarm three days ago, demanding a halt to the bloodlettings in the state.
The caucus recommended that NASS employ every legislative tool at its disposal to stop the drift in the state of North Central.
The chiefs summoned are the Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Director-General DSS, Inspector General of Police, and National Security Adviser.
