Senator Muhammed Jubrillah picks APC guber ticket in Adamawa

Senator Muhammed Bindo Jubrillah, representing Mubi North in the Nigerian Senate, has won the APC primary for the forthcoming governorship by-election to be held on October 11.

Senator Jubrilah polled 2,718 votes to defeat Ibrahim Mijinyawa, who got 2,268 votes. Boss Mustapha, who came third, polled 515 votes, while Ahmed Barata, also a serving Senator representing Adamawa South, got 452 votes.Yakubu Tsalla and Emmanuel Bello got 147 and 50 votes respectively.

The results of the election conducted through the modified open ballot system involving delegates from the 21 local councils in Adamawa State was announced by the Mr. Talba Abari, the chairman of the election panel in Adamawa.
