‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics’, a collection of essays by Simon Kolawole, columnist and CEO of TheCable, will be up for reading in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, on Monday.
The book reading event, organised by the August Meeting, is to be held at the Unity Hall of the Port Harcourt Club 1928 building in the state.
OJC Okocha, former chairman of the Nigerian Body of Benchers, will chair the book reading. Also speaking is Stephen Okodudu, former vice-chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt.
The occasion will comprise a review of the book and intellectual dissections of Nigerian politics and democracy.
‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics’ was released on October 3, 2022, and was published under Cable Books’ blueprint.
The book encompasses both Kolawole’s published and previously unpublished articles.
The articles, totalling 61, address various issues, including leadership, the economy, and politics in Nigeria.
Since its release, ‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics’ has been at the receiving end of critical acclaim.
In February, Kolawole made the Roving Heights bestseller list, ranking 12th among 49 top non-fiction books.
The Booksellers Limited, a leading bookstore, also named the author’s work among its top titles on its debut.
