The seven People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly were on Friday suspended by the assembly at a plenary held at an undisclosed location at the state capital, Ado Ekiti.
The suspended lawmakers were Samuel Ajibola, Israel Olowo, Alex Ade Ojo, Mrs. Adunni Olayinka, Dele Olugbemi and Ayoka Fatumbi.
The plenary presided over by the embattled speaker, Dr. Adewale Omirin, also nullified all the previous actions carried out by the PDP members, including the receipt of the State’s budget from the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.
