Actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh has condemned the ‘loose’ remark of the Senior Pastor of the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as the Latter Rain Church, Tunde Bakare regarding singer MohBad’s demise.
While addressing his congregation on Sunday on the topic; ‘Harvest’, Bakare said Mohbad reaped the reward of his association with evil men which led him to be ‘cut down so soon at the prime of youth’.
The cleric also inquired from his congregation ‘Moh bad’ which loosely translates in Yoruba as ‘I am bad’ was a good name for anyone to bear.
Reacting to Bakare’s declaration, Dikeh in an Instagram post, suggested he was a hypocrite who maintained silence when his colleagues were being exposed for ‘unholy sexual activities’ but suddenly developed a voice over the death of a boy, pronouncing ‘he reaped the reward of his actions’.
The humanitarian further noted she was being tactful with her call out because of the anointing on the cleric else she would have ‘gone off’ on him over his ‘loose comment’.
She wrote: “Dear Tunde: When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities, we never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them.
“It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born, and you say ‘HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.’ What Actions?
“Please, please, please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted colleagues as you just did today. It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOOSE COMMENT OF YOURS.
“I have learned over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, keep mute (DON’T TALK AT ALL). Preach your gospel and leave MohBad’s name out of your ministration.
“I don’t respect old age; I respect the wisdom you exhibit at old age”.
