The Federal Government has recognized the exceptional skills of Enoch Tobiloba, an HND 2 Engineering student at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), for his remarkable contribution to Nigeria’s automotive industry.

Tobiloba was rewarded with an electric vehicle by the Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Joseph Osanipin, for emerging as the winner of a design challenge focused on creating a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) hybrid car.

The presentation ceremony, held in Abuja, was a significant acknowledgment of Tobiloba’s innovative design, which integrates both CNG and electricity to provide an environmentally friendly transportation solution.

 The NADDC Director-General praised Tobiloba’s achievement and named him an Electric Vehicle (EV) Brand Ambassador, an honour that reflects his emerging role in advancing sustainable mobility in Nigeria.

“Today, we are proud to present this electric vehicle to Mr. Enoch Tobiloba, a promising young designer whose efforts symbolize the future of automotive technology in our country,” said Osanipin.

 He added that the NADDC remains committed to nurturing young talents who contribute to the nation’s drive toward sustainable energy and innovation in the automotive sector.

Tobiloba’s achievement marks a proud moment for Yaba College of Technology, which continues to uphold its vision of nurturing exceptional talent and driving technological advancement in Nigeria.
