Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) is set to train minimum of two hundred (200) staff on artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.

The application of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning is becoming increasingly important in today’s educational landscape, hence, providing the College lecturers with the necessary training and skills in this area is a valuable investment. 

The Acting Director, Human Resources Development, Dr. Moruuf Adebakin disclosed that the Centre will collaborate with Davak Consult for the training in batches of 200 staff, and the virtual format of the training is suitable, especially considering the current circumstances. 

He noted that this training shall form part of our commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of our lecturers through human capital development efforts.

The training will centre on Al- Power Personalization in Education (Enhancing Students Engagement), Chatbots and Virtual Assistants in Education (The Future of Student Support) AI in Assessments: Transforming Testing and Evaluation, and Networking Opportunities for three days at the cost of N7,500 per participant.
